Meet the Legends
Filip
The man who started it all, Filip is the fearless captain of the REQ ship - on a voyage to make the world a cooler, more comfortable place. He's the reason for REQ's genuine, down-to-earth vibe and easy-going atmosphere. Filip believes in treating people right - whether that's looking after his team or taking care of his customers. Adelaide born and bred, Filip is a husband and dad of three, and when he's not hard at work (which isn't very often), he loves getting out on the soccer field - playing, watching or even coaching.
Sandy
Happy-go-lucky, free-spirited, and easygoing, Sandy is in charge of people and culture at REQ, meaning she's the morale officer, head chef, and all-round team mum. She's also Filip's better half, so she has the boss's ear when she needs it. When she's not keeping spirits up at the office, she loves Pilates and runs her own catering business on the side. Born in Sabah, she's of Kadazan heritage - one of the indigenous people groups of east Malaysia. She lives with Filip, their three young kids, and no pets - although she used to have an albino python.
Nicole
Nicole is the Operations Manager at REQ - meaning she's the flight controller who makes sure everyone's in the right place at the right time, and everything keeps working smoothly. She's friendly and personable on the phone, but don't let that fool you - she's super organised, and sharp as a tack. She loves netball (both playing and watching), follows the Crows in the AFL, and is quite partial to the odd shopping spree. She lives with her family and her two lion-hunting dogs, Nala and Quinn. Because you never know...
Genesis
Genesis, or "Gen", is our marketing tech guru and an expert in all things SEO and Google. Originally from Manila, she's easy-going, fun, and a great listener who gives good advice. She loves the warm, family atmosphere and unique personalities at REQ. When she's not busy bending the internet to her will, Gen volunteers at her church, and with local community service organisations - which on any day might have her travelling the countryside, going out rowing, or even singing karaoke! She also loves painting and spending time with her cats - Migs and Kiyo.
Liam
Liam is our go-to guy for building strong relationships and discovering new opportunities as a Business Development Manager. He works closely with property managers, keeping everything running smoothly. When he’s not working, Liam enjoys spending time with family, staying fit, or diving into collectable card games. A hip-hop fan with a love for travel, he’s dreaming of exploring Europe to trace his family’s roots and planning a bucket-list trip to Machu Picchu. Living with his best mate in Adelaide, Liam’s always up for a laugh, sharing travel stories, or chatting about his latest card game obsession.
Chris
Chris is the charming, energetic leader of our sales team, and a true expert in all things Air Con. When he's not showing his team the ropes, he's working with customers - he's an expert at helping people find the perfect AC setup for their home, and answering any curly questions they may have along the way. After hours, if he's not spending time with his partner or his puppy Milo, you'll probably find him at soccer practice or hitting the gym - he's something of a sports nut. He'd gladly travel the world chasing the sport if he had the chance.
Daniel
Daniel is our charming Sales Consultant who ensures every customer walks away happy with tailored solutions. This Hectorville native balances his driven work ethic with passionate pursuits of soccer and cricket, often dreaming of Jamaica's cricket grounds and warm locals. At home with his wife and daughter, Daniel unwinds to 90's grunge music. An honest communicator who thrives on family time, he approaches challenges like sport—play hard, play fair, ensure everyone wins. If money was no object, you'd find him at a beach pool bar, watching cricket between adventures.
Kellie
Kellie keeps things running at full speed as our Air Conditioning Service Manager, overseeing the team that handles everything from maintenance to repairs and installations. Detail-oriented and solutions-driven, she ensures every job is done right.
Outside of work, she’s a music enthusiast who loves heavy metal and dreams of touring the globe to see her favorite bands.
When she’s not rocking in the office, she’s working out, diving into podcasts, or exploring cinema. At home, she shares life with her husband and a large turtle. Her travel bucket list includes America, Italy, Greece, and the Mediterranean.
Braydon
Braydon is our install manager, which means it's his job to make sure the work we do goes as smooth as butter, and everything is done right the first time. He's a smart guy with a good sense of fun, and he's always watching out for others. In his off time he likes mixing up his sports, switching between soccer and golf as the mood takes him - and if he never had to work, he'd probably just play more golf. Born here in Adelaide, he lives with his wife, two kids, and "Kawhi" the English Staffie.
Jai
Jai is one of our gifted install team technicians, and a handy man with machines - in fact when he's not hooking up air con for our customers, you'll often find him tinkering around with cars at home. If he never had to work, you'd probably still find him messing around with machines. He also loves sharing a drink with mates - he's an easygoing guy who's fun to be around. He lives in a busy household of five - or possibly eight, if you include Hera the dog and the cats, Ares and Xena.
Angus
Angus - better known as "Gus" - is one of our install team experts. You might come across him while he's hooking up your AC - although with Gus, you'll normally hear him before you see him! He's funny, friendly and personable, but he's also dedicated and doesn't leave a job half done. Out of hours he's passionate about cricket - both coaching and playing - and actively involved in his local team (he's vice-captain). He also loves sharing a coldie with mates, and spending time with his wife and family - and Gig the bull terrier.
Dawt
Dawt (pronounced like "daughter" without the "er") heads up our split system air con team. He's top-notch as far as AC technicians go, and there are not many technical problems he can't find a solution for. He's also a really lovely bloke. Originally from Myanmar (also known as Burma), he now lives in Adelaide with his family and his cat - Leo. In his off-time, he enjoys soccer and has also been known to play a little volleyball. Although Dawt is great at his job, he also loves time off with family, going on holidays, or just relaxing at home.
Mason
Mason, or "Little Mason" as he's often known, is one of our trade assistants and a handy man with a wrench. He's a charmer with an adventurous spirit and a laid-back, come-as-you-are personality. For fun, he likes to get fast and loud - he's a lover of motorsports and likes nothing better than getting behind the wheel of a dirt bike or go-kart - which also helps explain why his faithful English Staffy / Kelpie cross goes by the name of "Diesel". He'd love to travel more if he had time, but for now he's happy living with family.
Brody
Brody is another of our install team ninjas, and always good value to have around. He's sporty by nature and likes to stay active - whether that's out on the soccer field playing for his local team, or pulling on a wet suit and getting out into the waves on his board. But he balances that with a laid-back, easygoing nature. Raised in Adelaide, he's got an eye to getting out and seeing the world someday - maybe starting with Europe. But for now, he's happy here in SA, living with his family and their border collie - Ruby.
Rommel
Rommel heads up our sales support team, so he coordinates the people who create the quotes and designs for customers. He's a creative soul with a strong sense of curiosity, and he's one of those people who always sees the positive side of things. This is a valuable trait when you grow up in Pampanga - 10-20km from the site of the largest volcanic eruption in the last century. His hobbies range from jogging right through to sewing, and also include things like reading, drawing, and watching anime. He lives with his family and his dog, Murphy.
Mark
Mark handles repair quotes, reports and invoices at REQ. He sources parts, prepares purchase orders and books repairs when needed. Outside work, he watches documentaries and sci-fi movies, and goes running to stay active. Originally from Bulacan, he grew up next to a Catholic church. Mark lives with his family and Tali, his Persian cat who demands constant attention. If he could, he'd travel the world, especially Australia. He enjoys quiet getaways in the mountains or beach, and listens to country and R&B music.
Clarice
Clarice handles our accounts, and makes sure everything gets paid on time. Originally from Sibulan - a rugged region in the central Philippines, she now balances life between studying law and finance. She's one of those people who loves learning. Although she doesn't get a lot of downtime between work and assignments, she has recently gotten heavily into playing Frisbee with friends. She lives with a small petting zoo of three dogs - a Golden Retriever called Bella, a Shih Tzu by the name of Zowie, and Dino, the Japanese Spitz-Pomeranian.
Mariell
Mariell is the first point of contact for customers and property managers, ensuring inquiries are answered and service requests are scheduled seamlessly. As part of our admin support team, she keeps communication flowing, making sure no message goes unanswered—including on social media.
Born and raised in Nueva Ecija, she took a leap and moved to the city in search of new opportunities. Competitive and courageous, she loves exploring the Philippines, diving into local food, and embracing new adventures.
A traveller at heart, she once considered vlogging but prefers living in the moment. Her playlist shifts from R&B to hip-hop to pop, and while she lives solo for now, a cat is definitely in her future.
Nicole F
Nicole is our Sales Support Assistant, helping design air conditioning systems and prepare quotations with precision. Friendly, detail-oriented, and hardworking, she brings technical expertise to every project. Originally from Nueva Ecija, Philippines, Nicole's a natural learner who loves discovering new things - diving into books, online games, or expanding her knowledge. She dreams of becoming a licensed Civil Engineer, applying that meticulous attention to infrastructure projects. A pop and OPM music fan, she lives with her family and pets - a cat and dogs who keep home lively.
Jordan P
Jordan works as a Trade Assistant at REQ. In his free time, he's all about soccer - both playing and watching - and keeps up with motorsport events. You'll often find him enjoying a few beers with mates, hitting the golf course, or planning his next adventure abroad. Jordan grew up in Gawler and doesn't have any pets. Known for being funny, reliable, and adventurous, his dream holiday would be exploring Japan. When it comes to music, rock is his go-to genre.
Michael
Michael is our hands-on Trade Assistant who thrives on keeping customers cool and comfortable. Off the clock, this certified hypnotherapist pursues an eclectic mix of passions—from cactus growing and yoga to camping and fishing. At home with his stripey cat Tigro and Dalmatian Malibu, this Kersbrook native feels most alive in the hills. A drum and bass DJ for 15 years, he balances his musical side with a love for meaningful conversations and outdoor adventures. If work wasn't necessary, you'd find him surrounded by loved ones, fishing rod in hand, ready for the next exciting encounter.
Chris
Chris is our trade assistant, learning refrigeration and assisting on site with installations and repairs. Adventurous, friendly, and social, Chris brings positive energy to every job while building his technical skills. When he's not learning the trade, he dives into creative passions - working on cars, exploring car culture, and crafting intricate cosplays from scratch. A true artist at heart, his dream job would be creating full-time. This gaming enthusiast loves retro classics and exploring urban Adelaide. His eclectic music taste spans indie, pop, 80s Japanese, and shoegazer - anything with heavy instrumentals.
