Meet the Legends
Filip
The man who started it all, Filip is the fearless captain of the REQ ship - on a voyage to make the world a cooler, more comfortable place. He's the reason for REQ's genuine, down-to-earth vibe and easy-going atmosphere. Filip believes in treating people right - whether that's looking after his team or taking care of his customers. Adelaide born and bred, Filip is a husband and dad of three, and when he's not hard at work (which isn't very often), he loves getting out on the soccer field - playing, watching or even coaching.
Sandy
Happy-go-lucky, free-spirited, and easygoing, Sandy is in charge of people and culture at REQ, meaning she's the morale officer, head chef, and all-round team mum. She's also Filip's better half, so she has the boss's ear when she needs it. When she's not keeping spirits up at the office, she loves Pilates and runs her own catering business on the side. Born in Sabah, she's of Kadazan heritage - one of the indigenous people groups of east Malaysia. She lives with Filip, their three young kids, and no pets - although she used to have an albino python.
Hannah
Loud, hilarious, and always organised, Hannah is the CEO's assistant and one who makes it all happen at REQ. Originally a country girl from Pinnaroo, Hannah is an ex-fitness instructor and a real bundle of energy. When she's not going a million miles an hour keeping the office running, she's working on her fitness - whether it's weights, CrossFit, or even walking her dog Rufus with her partner. She's a big sports buff and a keen basketball fan, and she's always up for a chat. She'd also love to travel the world.
Nicole
Nicole is the Operations Manager at REQ - meaning she's the flight controller who makes sure everyone's in the right place at the right time, and everything keeps working smoothly. She's friendly and personable on the phone, but don't let that fool you - she's super organised, and sharp as a tack. She loves netball (both playing and watching), follows the Crows in the AFL, and is quite partial to the odd shopping spree. She lives with her family and her two lion-hunting dogs, Nala and Quinn. Because you never know...
Genesis
Genesis, or "Gen", is our marketing tech guru and an expert in all things SEO and Google. Originally from Manila, she's easy-going, fun, and a great listener who gives good advice. She loves the warm, family atmosphere and unique personalities at REQ. When she's not busy bending the internet to her will, Gen volunteers at her church, and with local community service organisations - which on any day might have her travelling the countryside, going out rowing, or even singing karaoke! She also loves painting and spending time with her dogs - Pebbles and Pillows.
Liam
Liam is our go-to guy for building strong relationships and discovering new opportunities as a Business Development Manager. He works closely with property managers, keeping everything running smoothly. When he’s not working, Liam enjoys spending time with family, staying fit, or diving into collectable card games. A hip-hop fan with a love for travel, he’s dreaming of exploring Europe to trace his family’s roots and planning a bucket-list trip to Machu Picchu. Living with his best mate in Adelaide, Liam’s always up for a laugh, sharing travel stories, or chatting about his latest card game obsession.
Chris
Chris is the charming, energetic leader of our sales team, and a true expert in all things Air Con. When he's not showing his team the ropes, he's working with customers - he's an expert at helping people find the perfect AC setup for their home, and answering any curly questions they may have along the way. After hours, if he's not spending time with his partner or his puppy Milo, you'll probably find him at soccer practice or hitting the gym - he's something of a sports nut. He'd gladly travel the world chasing the sport if he had the chance.
Jordan
Jordan is one of our awesome sales reps, and a real character. He's friendly and outgoing, loves to chat, and always has a sense of fun about him. When he's not on the phone helping customers or out on site offering know-how and advice, you'll find him at the Soccer field or spending time with his daughter and his dogs - owning a husky and a labrador is enough to keep anyone busy! He's also been known to indulge in a bit of computer gaming from time to time. Although he's an Adelaide local, he'd happily travel more if the chance came up.
Scott
Scott is our laid-back yet driven Sales Consultant who takes care of sales and site inspections with ease. A lover of sports, food, wine, and gaming, Scott makes the most of life outside of work.
His big dream? Living by the beach, soaking up the relaxed vibe. Scott also loves travelling and has his sights set on Thailand’s beaches and Tokyo’s streets.
With a soft spot for pop, rock, and country music, Scott is always great company, whether you’re chatting about travel, music, or local wineries.
Rhiannan
Rhiannan is our accounts clerk, so it's her job to make sure everything's properly signed off, and all accounts are settled. As well as being brilliant with numbers, she's genuine, has an awesome sense of humour, and is always great to have around. Originally from Murray Bridge, when she's not balancing the books she's generally doing something active — like netball, running, or spending time at the gym. She lives with her two girls, and given the chance would happily travel the world — preferably to somewhere warm and tropical, like Fiji. She also has a soft-spot for country music.
Kellie
Kellie keeps things running at full speed as our Air Conditioning Service Manager, overseeing the team that handles everything from maintenance to repairs and installations. Detail-oriented and solutions-driven, she ensures every job is done right.
Outside of work, she’s a music enthusiast who loves heavy metal and dreams of touring the globe to see her favorite bands.
When she’s not rocking in the office, she’s working out, diving into podcasts, or exploring cinema. At home, she shares life with her husband and a large turtle. Her travel bucket list includes America, Italy, Greece, and the Mediterranean.
Braydon
Braydon is our install manager, which means it's his job to make sure the work we do goes as smooth as butter, and everything is done right the first time. He's a smart guy with a good sense of fun, and he's always watching out for others. In his off time he likes mixing up his sports, switching between soccer and golf as the mood takes him - and if he never had to work, he'd probably just play more golf. Born here in Adelaide, he lives with his wife, two kids, and "Kawhi" the English Staffie.
Jackson
Jackson is one of our install team leaders - so he's often the one in charge while the work is happening on site. Born and raised right here in Adelaide, he's charismatic, highly dedicated, and passionate about what he does. When he's not hard at work, he shares his free time between staying active by playing soccer, or relaxing and taking it easy with a round of golf. Although, to be fair, free time is not easy to come by when you're a father of two small children.
Jai
Jai is one of our gifted install team technicians, and a handy man with machines - in fact when he's not hooking up air con for our customers, you'll often find him tinkering around with cars at home. If he never had to work, you'd probably still find him messing around with machines. He also loves sharing a drink with mates - he's an easygoing guy who's fun to be around. He lives in a busy household of five - or possibly eight, if you include Hera the dog and the cats, Ares and Xena.
Angus
Angus - better known as "Gus" - is one of our install team experts. You might come across him while he's hooking up your AC - although with Gus, you'll normally hear him before you see him! He's funny, friendly and personable, but he's also dedicated and doesn't leave a job half done. Out of hours he's passionate about cricket - both coaching and playing - and actively involved in his local team (he's vice-captain). He also loves sharing a coldie with mates, and spending time with his wife and family - and Gig the bull terrier.
Dawt
Dawt (pronounced like "daughter" without the "er") heads up our split system air con team. He's top-notch as far as AC technicians go, and there are not many technical problems he can't find a solution for. He's also a really lovely bloke. Originally from Myanmar (also known as Burma), he now lives in Adelaide with his family and his cat - Leo. In his off-time, he enjoys soccer and has also been known to play a little volleyball. Although Dawt is great at his job, he also loves time off with family, going on holidays, or just relaxing at home.
Mason
Mason, or "Little Mason" as he's often known, is one of our trade assistants and a handy man with a wrench. He's a charmer with an adventurous spirit and a laid-back, come-as-you-are personality. For fun, he likes to get fast and loud - he's a lover of motorsports and likes nothing better than getting behind the wheel of a dirt bike or go-kart - which also helps explain why his faithful English Staffy / Kelpie cross goes by the name of "Diesel". He'd love to travel more if he had time, but for now he's happy living with family.
Brody
Brody is another of our install team ninjas, and always good value to have around. He's sporty by nature and likes to stay active - whether that's out on the soccer field playing for his local team, or pulling on a wet suit and getting out into the waves on his board. But he balances that with a laid-back, easygoing nature. Raised in Adelaide, he's got an eye to getting out and seeing the world someday - maybe starting with Europe. But for now, he's happy here in SA, living with his family and their border collie - Ruby.
Mason
Mason's one of the people who makes the magic happen - one of our install team experts. He loves his job, and would probably do it even if he didn't need to work. He's hardworking, very approachable, and has the sort of enthusiasm that tends to spread to people around him. When he's not on the clock, you'll normally find him at the gym - whether that's pumping iron, or pulling on a pair of boxing gloves and sparring with a partner. It's no wonder he makes lifting those aircon units look so easy!
Kamran
Kamran heads up our servicing division - so when it comes to getting your aircon fixed or keeping it working smoothly, he's your man. An outdoors man at heart, Kamran loves all kinds of sports and outdoor adventuring - but he also knows his way around the kitchen and enjoys cooking for friends and family. He's smart, honest, and doesn't give up easily. He's currently a "study bachelor", holding down the fort while his partner is abroad studying her PhD. He's originally from Tochal Mountain (just south of the Caspian Sea), and loves to travel the world.
Riley
Riley's part of our install team, and he's always fun and easy to be around. Raised here in Adelaide, he's a bit of an adventurous spirit. He loves anything that goes fast outdoors on the river, road, or soil - quad biking, wakeboarding, dirt-biking, 4WD adventures... it's all good as far as Riley's concerned! He lives with family, a rottweiler/kelpie cross, and a grey cat who probably sleeps with one eye open. If he won the lottery, he'd probably travel and see the world, before returning home to build an absolutely enourmous house.
Rommel
Rommel heads up our sales support team, so he coordinates the people who create the quotes and designs for customers. He's a creative soul with a strong sense of curiosity, and he's one of those people who always sees the positive side of things. This is a valuable trait when you grow up in Pampanga - 10-20km from the site of the largest volcanic eruption in the last century. His hobbies range from jogging right through to sewing, and also include things like reading, drawing, and watching anime. He lives with his family and his dog, Murphy.
Mike
Mike is our resident graphic designer and video content wizard - a master of all things digital and multimedia. Innovative and adventurous, he's the one that keeps all our online content looking schmick! Born in Valenzuela City, he now lives with his mother, sister and a small army of cats. In his off hours, he loves riding bikes (both the pedal and motor variety), and tinkering with computers. He loves heading out for dinner and a movie with friends, and - according to rumour - owns a rather impressive collection of shoes.
Mark
Mark handles repair quotes, reports and invoices at REQ. He sources parts, prepares purchase orders and books repairs when needed. Outside work, he watches documentaries and sci-fi movies, and goes running to stay active. Originally from Bulacan, he grew up next to a Catholic church. Mark lives with his family and Tali, his Persian cat who demands constant attention. If he could, he'd travel the world, especially Australia. He enjoys quiet getaways in the mountains or beach, and listens to country and R&B music.
Adina
Adina helps keep everything working smoothly at REQ, as well as doing quotes for our customers. She's incredibly resourceful and adaptive - which makes her a great problem solver. But she also understands people very well. In her downtime, she might be strapping on her roller skates to get out and about, or possibly sitting down to do a bit of crochet. Born in Santa Catalina in the heart of the Philippines, she lives with her partner and their American Shorthair cat, Koko - who regards himself as the third (and possibly most important) member of the family.
Lorenz
Lorenz is the man behind the scenes that builds our quotes and works on our air con designs. He's creative and enthusiastic, and loves learning new things. When he's not hard at work, he loves spending time with his wife and their Maltese Teacup "Sai Sai". He's also a big NBA fan, and enjoys reading. He's originally from the town of Santa Rita, just northwest of Manila and famous for its cashew candy. If he never needed to work, he'd probably spend all his time with family and friends - family is a big deal for Lorenz.
Clarice
Clarice handles our accounts, and makes sure everything gets paid on time. Originally from Sibulan - a rugged region in the central Philippines, she now balances life between studying law and finance. She's one of those people who loves learning. Although she doesn't get a lot of downtime between work and assignments, she has recently gotten heavily into playing Frisbee with friends. She lives with a small petting zoo of three dogs - a Golden Retriever called Bella, a Shih Tzu by the name of Zowie, and Dino, the Japanese Spitz-Pomeranian.
Mariell
Mariell is the first point of contact for customers and property managers, ensuring inquiries are answered and service requests are scheduled seamlessly. As part of our admin support team, she keeps communication flowing, making sure no message goes unanswered—including on social media.
Born and raised in Nueva Ecija, she took a leap and moved to the city in search of new opportunities. Competitive and courageous, she loves exploring the Philippines, diving into local food, and embracing new adventures.
A traveller at heart, she once considered vlogging but prefers living in the moment. Her playlist shifts from R&B to hip-hop to pop, and while she lives solo for now, a cat is definitely in her future.
Jordan P
Jordan works as a Trade Assistant at REQ. In his free time, he's all about soccer - both playing and watching - and keeps up with motorsport events. You'll often find him enjoying a few beers with mates, hitting the golf course, or planning his next adventure abroad. Jordan grew up in Gawler and doesn't have any pets. Known for being funny, reliable, and adventurous, his dream holiday would be exploring Japan. When it comes to music, rock is his go-to genre.
Michael
Michael is a Trade Assistant at REQ who loves his job keeping people cool, not minding getting his hands dirty. Outside of work, he has eclectic interests - growing cacti, practicing yoga, enjoying music, camping, fishing, exploring mental health, and hypnosis. He's actually a certified hypnotherapist.
If he didn't need to work, Michael would spend all his time with family and friends, going on adventures, fishing, and striking up interesting conversations with new people. At home, he has a stripey cat named Tigro and a spotty Dalmatian called Malibu.
Michael grew up in the small town of Kersbrook and feels most at home in the hills. Interesting and musical are words that describe him best. His ideal getaway involves exploring new places, hiking, and fishing. Having been a drum and bass DJ for about 15 years, that's his favorite music genre, though he also enjoys a good 60s/70s playlist.
Andy
Andy's a recent edition to our faithful team of AC install wizards, but he's certainly made his mark. He's approachable, friendly, and likes to stay active. In his off time, when he's not spending time with family and kids, he loves getting outdoors and playing soccer (or "football", as he calls it) or doing some fishing when he feels like taking it slow. He's originally from Vietnam but now based here in Adelaide. And if he could do any job in the world except this? He'd probably be an airport baggage handler.
